Tennessee Highway Patrol Troopers Urging Drivers to Obey Move over Law

The social media campaign is created to educate the public about the move over law after a Nashville police officer was struck and killed by a motor home when he was directing traffic on Interstate 65.   According to Tennessee Highway patrol (THP), three troopers have been killed by drivers failing to move over since 2000.   The move over law went into effect in 2006.   THP encourages people to go to social media and use word of mouth to educate others about the move over law.
