The Color of Safety

Color is the great communication tool, and in highway safety it bears the responsibility of helping save lives. From stop lights to work zones, to pedestrian signs, the distinctive colors of those signs allow motorists to recognize and prepare for those situations. Transportation experts gathered for a 1-day symposium to discuss the power of color, and to better understand how agencies can implement this power effectively.
