Tougher MoDOT Work Zone Law to Take Effect

Motorists who injure or kill a highway worker will lose their license for a year and be fined up to $10,000, under the new Missouri state law that took effect Aug. 28. “This new law will make work zones safer for motorists and highway workers.” said Don Hillis, MoDOT System Management Director, in a statement.
