Traffic Control and Safety in the Work Zone
Abstract:The N.C. Department of Labor recognizes that the safety and health of workers, performing the many varied tasks during a temporary traffic control situation, should always be analyzed before work begins. Employers are responsible for assessing the workplace to determine if hazards are present or likely to be present that necessitate the use of protective equipment, including personal protective equipment.
