WT Seeks Research: Construction Site Fatalities Highest in Texas

Texas has the highest number of fatalities in road construction zones in the country. Byungik Chang of West Texas A&M University recently submitted a research proposal to Texas Department of Transportation to help reduce the number of fatalities. The research will study the state’s road crews, specifically looking at incidents when road crews are injured by vehilces or construction equipment.
