Caltrans Workers Memorial 2019 – Caltrans News Flash #196

On April 25th, Caltrans held its annual statewide Workers Memorial at the State Capitol. Since 1921, 189 Caltrans employees have died in the line of duty while building, maintaining and operating California’s transportation system including one District 11 employee who died in the last year. In this Caltrans News Flash, Assistant Deputy Director Tamie McGowen takes you behind the scenes on this very special day and invites you to remember Caltrans brothers and sisters who have lost their lives.
