Day in the Life – Crew Lead Chris Brownlow

From growing up on a ranch to operating heavy equipment in a sand mine, Chris Brownlow has spent nearly 30 years mastering the art of running large machinery. Now, as Crew Lead with SCDOT’s Bamberg Maintenance, he brings that expertise to his team – ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in every project. Chris recently shared what a typical day looks like for his crew and how rewarding it is to make a real impact on South Carolina’s roads.
