Temporary Traffic Control Plan Development Workshop
The Wayne State University – Transportation Research Group performed a national training program that focused on the development of temporary traffic control plans (TTCP) for various types of highway work zones. The workshop consists of the following modules:
- Module 1: TTCP Development
- Module 2: TTCP Software
- Module 3: Utility Work Zones
- Module 4: Urban Work Zones
- Module 5: Short-Term, Short-Duration, and Mobile (STSDM) Work Zones
- Module 6: Compendium
The Utility, Urban, and STSDM Work Zone Modules include a real-life example problem that demonstrates a step-by-step approach on how to select an appropriate Typical Application and modify it to fit field conditions. The workshop is for engineers, planners, field personnel, foreman, safety inspectors, and any other individuals involved with work zone temporary traffic control.
