Work Zone Safe

Work Zone Safe offers free, online courses designed to educate teen drivers on safely navigating roadway work zones and sharing the road with first responders. These courses aim to reduce teen driving fatalities by teaching safe driving habits, recognizing common work zone scenarios, and understanding traffic control devices. The program also features real-life stories to emphasize the human impact of work zone safety.

Courses are available nationally and in specific states:

  • National Work Zone Safe Course: Available to all teen drivers across the U.S.
  • Oklahoma Work Zone Safe: Mandatory for teens to obtain an Oklahoma Intermediate Driver License.
  • Kansas Work Zone Safe: Voluntary course for Kansas teens.
  • Wisconsin Work Zone Safe: Fulfills the state’s 30-minute work zone safety instruction requirement.
