Work Zone Safety – Life or Death Illinois

In 2017, there were 4,373 crashes in Illinois Work Zones. These are 100% avoidable. We’re all responsible. You can make a difference by simply PAYING ATTENTION … it’s a matter of Life or Death.

Life or Death Illinois is a campaign developed by the Illinois Department of Transportation to promote safe driving habits and to educate on the danger associated with careless driving habits such as drinking and driving (Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over), seat belts (Click It or Ticket), motorcycle safety, pedestrian and bicycle safety, distracted driving, and work zone safety.
