Abstract:

The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) Foundation is inviting applications for the 2026–2027 Lanford Family Transportation Construction Worker Memorial Scholarship Program, which supports children of transportation construction workers who were killed or permanently disabled on the job. The program is open to eligible undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in accredited post-secondary institutions, including universities, community colleges, and vocational schools. Established in 1999, the scholarship fund has awarded nearly $1 million to 230 students across 33 states, with individual awards of up to $10,000 annually. Applications are due April 3.
