ARTBA’s ‘Fundamentals’ Course Provides Online Transportation Construction Safety Training
Author/Presenter: Chimelewski, KatieAbstract:
As COVID-19 continues to disrupt in-person training, ARTBA’s online Fundamentals of U.S. Transportation Construction Safety course allows workers to maintain social distance and learn the material on their own devices. Seasonal slowdowns also make it a great time to enroll in digital training. “Fundamentals” covers the OSHA-10 Hour for Construction course objectives and includes four additional hours of industry-specific safety topics, including temporary traffic control, preventing runovers and backovers, and risk assessment. It can help train new workers, introduce specific safety topics, or update existing knowledge.
