Colorado DOT Employee’s Work Zone Death Highlights Risks in Basic Road Repairs
Abstract:With pothole repair season under way across the nation, the February 11th death of Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) employee Nolan Olson highlights the risks state DOT workers and contractors face as they try to maintain roads amid ongoing vehicle traffic. This article touches on the legacy Olsen left while encouraging drivers to use proper safety precautions to avoid the high number of work zone related tragedies.
