DOH Worker Hit and Killed in Work Zone

A Department of Highways (DOH) worker was struck and killed by a work release inmate backing up a DOH truck near Charleston.   The circumstances of the incident are being investigated, but according to a DOH official, it is not uncommon for work release inmates to operate some of the DOH equipment.
