MoDOT Worker Killed in Line of Duty Near Sedalia

Abstract:

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and the local community are mourning the loss of Jay Bone, a senior maintenance worker fatally struck by a semi-truck while conducting a flagging operation on Route O near Sedalia, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the tragedy, and no arrests or charges have been made. The tragedy unfolded just days after MoDOT’s remembrance event for fallen workers.
