ODOT Cracks Down on Construction Zones After Worker Accidents

Author/Presenter: Stratford, Suzanne
Abstract:

Three workers were struck and seriously injured by a driver under the influence on the roadside during a night project. In response to this incident, the Ohio Department of Transportation will be reducing the speed limit to 50 mph in active work zones and law enforcement will heavily enforce the newly implemented speed limits. Fines will also be doubled for violations in work zones.
