Two MaineDOT Workers Killed in I-95 Construction Zone Crash in Waterville

Two workers from the Maine Department of Transportation were killed and a third was injured after a crash in a construction zone on Interstate 95 in Waterville, Maine. According to Maine State Police, a minivan driver failed to stop at a temporary stop sign at the end of a southbound on-ramp during bridge construction and attempted to merge onto the interstate, where the vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer. The impact pushed the minivan into the work zone, striking three road workers and forcing two of them off the bridge.
