Work Zone Incursions Increase for Highway Contractors

An annual survey conducted by the Associated General Contractors of America and software firm HCSS found that 64 percent of highway contractors had motor vehicles crash into their construction work zones during the past year. According to the survey, motorists and their passengers are twice as likely as highway workers to be killed in work zone crashes.
