Abstract:According to the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), “caught-in” or “caught-between” hazards are one of the leading causes of death and injury in the construction industry. Constructed as an additional guide for instructors, this fact sheet provides additional guidance on “caught-in” hazards within the transportation construction industry, specifically covering hazards surrounding entanglement in equipment and machinery.
